[Production Example] Laminated Motor Core (φ110×35×0.2mm)

In-mold laminated core using sequentially delivered press molds.

This is a laminated motor core (φ110×35×0.2mm). The material is 50A300, and it is primarily used for power transmission devices. This laminated motor core is assembled using a progressive die that performs lamination within the mold. A precision of 0.05mm is required for perpendicularity, parallelism, coaxiality, and roundness, necessitating advanced precision mold manufacturing technology, which is why we were consulted by the company that specializes in burr-free precision pressing. We are capable of sourcing a variety of materials, not only common iron and SUS but also from amorphous products to special alloys, and we provide one-stop solutions from prototype processing of custom motor cores and resolvers to mass production. Additionally, based on the data accumulated in our unique production management system, we offer products to our customers at reasonable prices. If you are facing issues with the design and manufacturing of custom motor cores or precision pressed parts, please feel free to contact our custom shim manufacturing center.

[Production Example] T-shaped 6-link laminated motor core (Poki-Poki Core)

In-mold laminated core using sequentially delivered press molds.

This is a T-shaped 6-piece laminated motor core (Poki-Poki core). The material is 35A440, and it is primarily used for power transmission devices. Precision of perpendicularity and parallelism is required to be within 0.05mm, necessitating advanced precision mold manufacturing technology, which is why we were consulted by the company that specializes in burr-free precision pressing. Additionally, while other companies also manufacture individual T-shaped laminated cores, this one is laminated in a state where six T-shaped cores are connected together. If you are in need of custom motor core design and manufacturing or precision pressed parts, please feel free to download the materials or contact our custom shim manufacturing center.

Laminated motor core

The thinner the laminated board material, the better the motor characteristics! Mass production is possible down to a thickness of 0.2mm.

We would like to introduce our "laminated motor cores." At our company, we manufacture motor cores using a riveting method, which improves motor characteristics as the laminated plates become thinner. The core (iron core) is the pathway for magnetic flux, and laminated cores are used in rotor iron cores that make up the armature circuit, utilizing the characteristic of changing magnetic flux with rotation. Please feel free to contact us when you need assistance. 【Riveting Method】 ■ A method of joining two or more parts by riveting and pressing ■ The processes after pressing can be automated ■ Can be supplied at a lower cost compared to other methods ■ Applications: for robots, automobiles, and medical devices *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Motor core by vacuum impregnation and lamination.

High core occupancy rate is expected! Prototyping can be done with wire processing machines at low cost and short delivery times.

As for the lamination technology of motor cores, traditionally, dowel pin fastening and welding were common. However, when laminated using dowel pin fastening or welding, there was a disadvantage that the insulating coating of the electromagnetic steel sheets could be damaged, leading to the generation of eddy currents. Therefore, we established a technology called "vacuum impregnation adhesive lamination," which involves vacuuming the adhesive to penetrate between the layers and laminate the core. Since we use adhesive for lamination, it is possible to protect the insulating coating. This helps suppress the generation of eddy currents, reducing iron losses and thus minimizing energy loss. 【Advantages】 ■ No damage to the insulating coating during lamination - Non-energized cores without current can be achieved between layers ■ High packing density of the core (98-99%) can be expected ■ Capable of accommodating thin sheets and complex-shaped cores *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
